Account Manager (German Speaker)

About the role

Passbolt is seeking an experienced, results‑driven Account Manager to join its inbound sales team in Luxembourg. You will be the primary commercial voice for German‑speaking prospects, partners and customers, handling inbound enquiries from around the world and developing deep knowledge of the German market.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound email enquiries and coordinate with pre‑sales and Solution Architects when technical input is needed.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, technical environment, security context and buying timeline.
• Qualify leads against the Ideal Customer Profile and record outcomes in Hubspot.
• Drive qualified opportunities through the pipeline, maintaining a rigorous follow‑up cadence and ensuring CRM hygiene.
• Organise online demos, generate estimates and close small‑ to medium‑size deals; collaborate with an Account Executive on larger enterprise opportunities.
• Represent Passbolt at international tradeshows and industry events as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inbound sales or a customer‑facing role at an international level.
• Strong empathy, problem‑solving mindset and ability to act as the voice of the customer.
• Solid understanding of open‑source software and cybersecurity markets.
• Fluency in German (spoken and written) and ability to engage German‑speaking prospects.

Required skills

• Hubspot CRM proficiency.
