Vice President Lending Advisor – Wealth Lending

About the role

Citi Wealth Lending is seeking a Vice President Lending Advisor to partner with Citi Private Bank teams and provide sophisticated borrowing solutions to ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients across EMEA. You will advise on new loan opportunities, refinancing, and restructuring of existing facilities, aligning lending strategies with broader wealth management goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Citi Private Bank bankers to identify and source lending opportunities.
• Participate in client and prospect meetings to present tailored loan solutions.
• Act as subject‑matter expert, pre‑screening requests with underwriting and risk teams and structuring bespoke proposals.
• Build and manage a pipeline of lending opportunities to grow the EMEA portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with control standards and coordinate with business managers and finance for growth planning.

Required profile

• Proven track record in UHNW lending origination and credit/collateral analysis within a private bank.
• Expert knowledge of structured lending across a range of asset classes, including marketable securities, private equity, hedge funds, commercial real estate, aviation, fine art and collectibles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
