Treasury Analyst – EMEA Regional Treasury Center

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Treasury Analyst to join its global cash management team at the European Headquarters in Luxembourg. The role sits within a fast‑paced, collaborative Treasury department and offers the chance to develop expertise in liquidity, trade finance and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage short‑term liquidity across EMEA entities, supporting intercompany funding and settlement activities.
• Handle all EMEA trade‑finance inquiries, execute bank guarantees and provide advisory support to business units.
• Develop reporting and metrics to identify operational defects and drive improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth treasury operations.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
• Proven ability to detect incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and implement escalation plans.
• Track record of delivering complex projects and owning mission‑critical processes or products.
• Cash‑management experience.
