Trainee - Commercial (m/f/d)

About the role

Riverty, a fintech company part of the Bertelsmann group, is recruiting a Trainee - Commercial (m/f/d) for its Luxembourg office in the RTL City building in Kirchberg. The role is permanent and full-time, with flexible working conditions. The trainee works on business projects from day one, supported by a buddy, a mentor and regular feedback, and plans their follow-up role together with the company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up Commercial Leadership meetings so that key decisions become action
• Coordinate strategic planning across Product Lines and commercial functions
• Prepare analyses and decision materials for senior management
• Coordinate commercial input into product prioritization and the Product Board
• Support and drive organizational-development initiatives
• Shape Townhalls and internal communication, and make strategic priorities, decisions and execution transparent
• Take responsibility in concrete business projects across Product Lines, analyze business problems, develop solutions and help implement them
• Gradually take ownership of increasingly complex business initiatives

Required profile

• About 2 to 5 years of professional experience, for example in consulting, strategy, fintech, financial services, commercial management or a comparable environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a structured, pragmatic and hands-on approach
• Curiosity about how clients, products, economics, technology, risk and operations combine to create a successful business
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and confidence working with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
• High sense of ownership and willingness to drive topics independently, with an appetite to move beyond analysis to implementation
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
