Test Engineer – Manual & Functional Testing (8‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg for an 8‑month contract. The role focuses on manual testing of the eFront platform, ensuring high‑quality releases for our finance‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, user stories and specifications together with Business Analysts and solution owners to define test scope.
• Design, prepare, maintain and execute manual test cases covering functional, integration, performance and regression testing.
• Run test cycles, analyse results, log defects, track them and verify fixes in coordination with the implementation team.
• Prepare and maintain test data, documentation and test reports that support release and go/no‑go decisions.
• Support system integration testing and hyper‑care phases to improve overall solution stability.
• Collaborate closely with internal colleagues and the service provider to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of testing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in test design and execution within cross‑functional teams.
• Proven experience using test management or tracking tools such as JIRA.
• ISTQB or equivalent test/QA certification.
• Experience in the finance domain or fund industry is a plus.
