Technical Author – Documentation Specialist (Various Levels)

About the role

This position is for a Technical Author based in Luxembourg, working within a fast‑scaling global tech environment. You will help define and elevate technical documentation as a core engineering discipline, collaborating with product, engineering and community teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and continuously improve high‑quality technical documentation for software products, internal systems or business operations.
• Partner closely with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects system functionality and user needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content for developers, users and internal audiences.
• Contribute to documentation standards, style guides and best‑practice frameworks such as Diátaxis.
• Engage with open‑source communities and encourage documentation contributions from cross‑functional team members.

Required profile

• Strong experience in technical writing, software documentation or engineering‑adjacent roles.
• Background in software development or deep familiarity with engineering tools and workflows.
• Excellent written communication with a focus on clarity, precision and consistency.
• Analytical mindset and ability to structure complex information.
