Squad Lead – Software Delivery & Team Mentor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Squad Lead to own the end‑to‑end delivery of software projects and to mentor a high‑performing development team. You will work closely with senior management, product owners and technical leads to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for delivery across all squad workstreams, from technical architecture and Kanban flow to production deployment.
• Manage cross‑application dependencies and lead the technical shift strategy.
• Act as the single project management interface with the head of unit and senior leadership.
• Coach the team, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate decisions with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and QA Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 11+ years of experience in software development and team leadership.
• Proven experience as a team lead or technical lead, with hands‑on Java and/or JavaScript/React development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Kanban, including WIP management and flow metrics.
• Experience managing technical migrations or platform shifts.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and release management.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business‑level status and risk communication.
