Solution Architect – IT Architecture & Design

About the role

The Solution Architect will translate business ideas into detailed solution designs, working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team and lead developers. This role ensures that all technical documentation aligns with business needs and regulatory standards within Luxair’s IT department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive solution design documents from initial proposals and business analyses.
• Create and maintain data models, infrastructure designs, application maps, and cost impact analyses.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and development leads to produce required documentation.
• Conduct data protection, risk, and security assessments to meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Lead design authority meetings and obtain final approvals from relevant authorities.
• Standardise documentation and procedures for software solution designs and integrations.
• Act as technical liaison between business units, project leaders, and development teams, providing guidance on implementation and operation.
• Provide technical leadership and support to team members to improve project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar IT architecture role.
• Strong ability to document and communicate complex solutions clearly.
• Experience leading assessment processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Excellent collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
