ServiceNow Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a ServiceNow Consultant to lead the design, customization, and integration of enterprise‑scale CMDB solutions. You will work closely with architecture teams to align data models with CSDM 5.0 and bridge ServiceNow with modern DevSecOps pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CMDB data models that follow CSDM 5.0 standards.
• Conduct discovery workshops to capture architecture building blocks and relationships.
• Customize ServiceNow foundation classes, CI models, and integrate ITOM, ITSM, CSM, and SPM data structures.
• Document architectural decisions, constraints, and data models.
• Define phased approaches for reusable building blocks across business applications.
• Deploy solutions across DEV, TEST, and PROD ServiceNow environments.
• Integrate ServiceNow with DevSecOps platforms and CI/CD pipelines (cloud and on‑premises).
• Design ingestion pipelines, map infrastructure and application resources, and create integration flows.
• Implement APIs (scripted REST, CMDB), Import Sets, Transform Maps, and event‑driven ingestion mechanisms.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and error‑handling strategies for data pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB customization.
• Deep understanding of CMDB modelling and CSDM 5.0.
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with cloud DevSecOps platforms such as AWS or Azure, including sovereign cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation) and event‑driven automation (e.g., Lambda, event bridges).
• Hands‑on experience with on‑prem DevSecOps tooling (Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Python, shell scripting).
• Strong background in enterprise system integration and API design.
