Senior Software Engineer

About the role

MarketLeap is building the world’s first fully integrated AI‑driven e‑commerce platform for D2C brands. As a Senior Software Engineer you will own a product domain, deliver production‑grade features and help shape the technical direction of a fast‑growing startup.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a product domain and become the go‑to technical owner.
• Design, develop and ship high‑quality features from concept to production.
• Lead major projects, ensuring they meet performance, scalability and reliability standards.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, observability and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, design and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing logical, maintainable and scalable code in Java or another JVM language such as Kotlin.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Hands‑on experience designing and operating large‑scale, complex system architectures.
• Commitment to high software quality, automated testing and operational excellence.
• Interest or experience with AWS, distributed systems, serverless and event‑driven architectures.
