Senior Relationship Manager Nordics

About the role

HSBC is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager for the Nordics region to join its Private Banking team in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for originating and growing profitable, long‑term relationships with UHNW and Upper HNW clients across Scandinavia, leveraging your personal network to bring new business to the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain trusted‑advisor relationships with UHNW and Upper HNW prospects and clients, ensuring regular contact and proactive service.
• Originate and execute opportunities across the full Global Private Bank product and service offering.
• Coordinate with investment advisors, credit specialists, wealth planners and product specialists to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Conduct thorough risk assessment and KYC checks while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Identify liquidity events and financing opportunities, collaborating with clients’ professional advisors.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑management experience in private banking or investment banking serving UHNW and Upper HNW clients.
• Extensive personal network across Scandinavian countries with a proven track record of originating and advising UHNW/Upper HNW clients.
• Demonstrated success in asset gathering, AUM growth and revenue generation.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as German or French are a plus.
