Senior Internal Auditor – Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit team by executing operational and financial audits across multiple group entities, with a focus on manufacturing, industrial and supply‑chain environments. The role involves fieldwork, evidence collection, and reporting while developing strong audit and risk‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan and methodology, ensuring high‑quality fieldwork and timely completion.
• Test internal controls, processes and transactions within manufacturing and supply‑chain settings.
• Collect, validate and analyse audit evidence from operating companies and business units across several countries.
• Document audit work in audit management systems according to internal audit standards.
• Identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities, and assist in drafting audit findings and reports.
• Track audit actions and ensure timely closure of findings by operating companies.
• Maintain status updates in audit tracking tools and support reporting to internal audit management.
• Interact with finance, operations and management teams to ensure clear communication and coordination.
• Participate in international fieldwork, requiring 25‑30% travel.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within manufacturing, industrial or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and audit methodologies.
• Experience in multinational, multi‑entity organisations is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as French, German or Spanish are a plus.
• High level of integrity, professional judgment and willingness to travel internationally.
