Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in embedded C++ to join our experienced satellite‑communications team in Luxembourg. You will contribute to the design, implementation, validation and delivery of a critical C++ embedded application for a key customer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality C++17 code for embedded systems.
• Write unit tests using GoogleTest and follow Test‑Driven Development practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, validation engineers and other developers in Agile sprints.
• Manage source control with Git, following branch‑by‑feature strategies.
• Produce clear documentation and UML diagrams adhering to ECSS and PUS‑C standards.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in C++ software development.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns and UML.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
