Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

As a senior member of the Compliance Team at Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg, you will lead the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of compliance risks across our AIFM and UCITS activities. You will work independently, providing expert advice and ensuring that regulatory and internal standards are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance risk assessments, conflict‑of‑interest management, and AML/CTF frameworks.
• Maintain and review the SLAM LUX policy framework to align with internal and public regulations.
• Design, deliver and coordinate regulatory and company‑specific training programmes.
• Plan, conduct and document internal AML and corporate compliance audits, and follow up on remediation actions.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of compliance processes, leveraging tooling and data‑driven solutions.
• Monitor Luxembourg regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of changes.
• Prepare compliance reporting and support interactions with auditors and other control functions.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in compliance, AML or risk within Luxembourg, preferably in asset management, AIFM or UCITS environments.
• Strong knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS and Luxembourg supervisory requirements (CSSF circulars, AML/CFT obligations).
• Proven ability to conduct internal audits and manage complex compliance projects independently.
• High affinity for process optimisation, automation and data‑driven approaches.
