SecOps Engineer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated SecOps Engineer to join its security team on a permanent basis. As the first line of defense, you will handle security incidents, monitor security tools, and work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the initial responder for security alerts, performing triage and escalating to the second‑line team when needed.
• Monitor and manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR and other security platforms to ensure rapid threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops and DevOps to integrate DevSecOps practices, secure coding guidelines, and infrastructure hardening.
• Identify, assess, prioritize and track vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and third‑party components.
• Conduct evidence collection, analysis and reporting during incident response activities.
• Perform regular security reviews, audits and threat‑intelligence research to continuously improve the security posture.

Required profile

• Strong interest in security operations and incident response.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with emerging threats.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS and EDR solutions.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure coding practices.
• Vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and security monitoring tools.
