SecOps Engineer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated SecOps Engineer to join its security team on a permanent basis. As the first line of defence, you will handle security incidents, work closely with development and operations teams, and help embed security best practices throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first line of response for security alerts, performing triage and escalating to the second‑line team when needed.
• Monitor security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS and EDR, and ensure rapid mitigation of threats.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops and DevOps teams to integrate security controls into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Advise on secure coding, infrastructure hardening and observability improvements.
• Identify, assess and track vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and third‑party components, prioritising remediation according to risk appetite.
• Conduct regular security reviews, audits and threat‑intelligence research to continuously improve the security posture.

Required profile

• Experience in handling security incidents, evidence collection and reporting.
• Ability to work closely with development, operations and DevOps teams.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
