Python Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

In this hourly, remote contractor role you will act as the Python Quality Assurance Lead for an AI data services company. You will ensure that Python training data is accurate, executable, idiomatic and aligned with client expectations, directly contributing to the improvement of leading AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency and trainer performance across Python AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated Python code and trainer/QA work against project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on code correctness, runtime behavior, debugging, readability, performance, security, test coverage and documentation.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and maintain documentation.
• Support onboarding of new contributors, activate inconsistent contributors, and track performance via Discord, Google Sheets and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing clear technical feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development, backend engineering, automation, scripting, code review or QA.
• Deep understanding of Python fundamentals and ability to evaluate code against detailed rubrics.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, engineers or reviewers is strongly preferred.
