ServiceNow Technical Specialist (Permanent)

About the role

The ServiceNow Technical Specialist will provide technical support and guidance for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, usability and alignment with business needs. Working closely with the ServiceNow support and delivery partner, the specialist will validate designs, supervise implementations and promote platform adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve the ServiceNow platform development strategy and roadmap.
• Supervise implementation of solutions for ServiceNow and Service Portal, including dashboards and workflows.
• Provide advice to support platform adoption and stay current with new capabilities.
• Manage platform security, access controls and act as Cloud Application Owner for IT applications.
• Lead CMDB strategy, implementation and maintenance as CMDB manager.
• Create and maintain documentation, procedures and processes for ITIL services.
• Liaise with third‑party vendors responsible for platform maintenance and development.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or related field with relevant experience, preferably in the banking sector.
• Extensive experience with ITIL platforms, ideally ServiceNow, including ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue and CMDB.
• Strong English communication skills; French is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and follow documented procedures.

• ServiceNow platform expertise (ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, CMDB).
• Performance Analytics and reporting within ServiceNow.
• ITIL process knowledge and implementation.
• Technical investigation and IT system management (access policies, updates, monitoring).
• ServiceNow certifications (preferred).
