Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization & Linux

About the role

We are seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to join our Global IT Operations team. The role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining enterprise‑level virtualization, Windows and Linux environments to ensure high availability and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer and optimise enterprise virtualization environments based on VMware technologies.
• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS clusters and virtual networking.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning and lifecycle management of infrastructure components.
• Lead hypervisor upgrades, migrations, patching and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Administer Windows Server environments and implement Windows Failover Clustering solutions.
• Provide Level 3 escalation support, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience supporting production‑critical environments.
• Strong experience with VMware virtualization and other virtualization platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Dell PowerFlex, Zerto and multi‑site, hybrid infrastructures.
• Proven expertise in Windows Failover Clustering and Linux administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and scripting using PowerShell or Shell.
