Project Manager - UCITS Funds Onboarding

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead the onboarding of traditional UCITS funds. Based in Luxembourg, you will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure new funds are launched smoothly and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding of new traditional funds from scoping to operational launch.
• Coordinate depositary onboarding with asset managers, fund administrators, auditors, legal advisors and other counterparties.
• Lead business implementation of new mandates, gathering requirements, setting up operations, validating workflows and preparing for production.
• Plan and monitor project phases including fund structuring, documentation, testing, validation, go‑live and post‑launch follow‑up.
• Work with the depositary control department to ensure regulatory and control compliance.
• Maintain operational compliance throughout the fund lifecycle, including launch, ramp‑up and ongoing monitoring.
• Identify risks, dependencies and blockers, proposing corrective actions.
• Communicate progress, deliverables, timelines and decisions to all stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding processes.

Required profile

• Medior to senior‑level experience in UCITS fund onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of traditional fund structures and operational lifecycles.
• Good understanding of depositary banking activities and control obligations.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple external parties.

• Strong risk identification and mitigation skills.
