Project & Communication Assistant

About the role

Serve the City is looking for a dynamic Project & Communication Assistant to support the development of its volunteering projects in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Project & Logistics Manager and Community Manager, you will help bridge on‑the‑ground activities with digital outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations in the office and in the field.
• Assist team leaders, organise project activities and follow up on deliverables.
• Identify, onboard and mentor new volunteers and potential team leaders.
• Develop and promote new volunteering opportunities.
• Create engaging multimedia content (photos, videos, stories) for social‑media channels.
• Update the Serve the City website and maintain the communication calendar.
• Promote the organisation’s values and foster an inclusive volunteer community.

Required profile

• Mission‑driven and passionate about social impact.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Experience in project management or charity work is an asset.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good knowledge of French.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends.
• Driving licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Photo and video editing for social‑media content.
• Social‑media content creation and management.
• Basic website content‑management skills.
