Professional Support Lawyer – Funds (Permanent)

About the role

The Professional Support Lawyer will work closely with partners and associates in the Funds department to develop and disseminate legal knowledge across the firm. This permanent position focuses on creating thought‑leadership content, supporting internal training, and ensuring lawyers stay up‑to‑date with market developments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify legal developments and trends in investment funds and promote a culture of knowledge excellence.
• Prepare briefing memoranda, client correspondence, and pitch materials on recent legal changes.
• Coordinate and participate in internal meetings, trainings, and firm‑wide education initiatives.
• Maintain and update precedents, templates, checklists, articles and memos.
• Assist in preparing service offers and client pitch documents.
• Organise conferences and produce related documentation.
• Respond to lawyers’ enquiries on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience as a practicing lawyer, consultant, or in‑house counsel within the legal market.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication and drafting abilities.
• Highly organized, flexible and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research databases.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
