Portfolio Controller – Private Equity (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a Portfolio Controller to join an independent, internationally active investment management firm based in Luxembourg. The role supports fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor communications across a multi‑billion‑euro portfolio focused on technology‑enabled growth and infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and LuxGAAP.
• Calculate NAV, reconcile fund accounts, and monitor cash flows, including capital calls and distributions.
• Track financial performance of portfolio companies and maintain accurate fund‑level data.
• Produce investor reporting packages, capital account statements, and performance summaries.
• Assist with investment and divestment processes, coordinating capital calls, drawdowns, and distributions.
• Support audit processes, documentation, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, templates, and reporting tools.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in fund administration or a Big Four audit environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes under LuxGAAP and IFRS.
• Good knowledge of private equity or alternative investment structures.
• High analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a small team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
