Operations Manager

About the role

This Operations Manager position supports the smooth running of a growing, multi‑country reinsurance brokerage. The role sits at the intersection of operations, governance and regulatory activity, aiming to improve structure, consistency and efficiency across entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support regulatory and operational initiatives such as DORA, ERICCA 2 and other EU/local compliance workstreams.
• Coordinate project delivery, timelines, governance tracking and cross‑functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Assist governance forums and Operations Committee activities by preparing agendas, management information and reporting packs.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, compliance documentation, audit trails and operational reporting.
• Develop and maintain operational KPIs, dashboards and management information for decision‑making.
• Coordinate client consideration processes and resolve operational/regulatory queries across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support branch operations, office expansion initiatives and operational resilience activities.
• Assist with Business Continuity Planning, including testing, reviews and regulatory‑aligned updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience in operations, project coordination or similar roles, preferably in a regulated or financial services environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of governance, risk or regulatory frameworks.
• Detail‑oriented with good reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with regulatory projects or multi‑entity environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is advantageous.
