Medior / Senior Software Engineer (Java & Angular)

About the role

We are looking for a Medior or Senior Software Engineer to strengthen our Agile team in Luxembourg. You will primarily focus on backend development using Java while also contributing to frontend features with Angular. The role emphasizes high‑quality code, collaboration, and continuous innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications using Spring, Hibernate and related technologies.
• Implement new backend features and occasionally support Angular‑based frontend components.
• Propose and apply innovative solutions to improve existing products.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews and refactoring.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior developers when needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (Spring, Hibernate).
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Willingness to work with Angular or develop frontend skills.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
