Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg and contribute to the design of beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters in Dudelange, you will work on high‑performance, reliable and cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate design concepts and produce a design selection matrix based on the project scope.
• Execute detailed designs applying company standards and perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in a similar mechanical design environment (advantageous).
• Strong analytical abilities to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Familiarity with virtual simulation tools (advantageous).
