Commissioning Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Commissioning Technician to install, test and hand over electrical and mechanical equipment for satellite antenna systems. The role involves travelling internationally for several‑week missions and working on‑site in a safe, compliant manner.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical and mechanical mounting instructions to install products.
• Diagnose breakdowns, perform troubleshooting and carry out commissioning, debugging and acceptance testing.
• Conduct test procedures and maintenance activities together with the commissioning engineer.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and ensure safe working conditions during on‑site interventions.
• Inventory and maintain tools, consumables and department infrastructure.
• Write simple reports and documentation in English after each intervention.
• Work at height using harnesses and cherry pickers on satellite antennas.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
• Technical studies focused on electronics, mechanical or electrical engineering (Bachelor’s degree or BTS).
• Willingness to travel internationally for missions lasting several weeks.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work without vertigo and to adapt autonomously in a team.
