Marketing & Business Development Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Marketing & Business Development Advisor to support the execution of our client strategy, business development, and external communications. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development, you will work closely with partners, fee earners, and international teams to deliver high‑quality marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the marketing team and senior manager in implementing business development and marketing plans.
• Manage mid‑level pitches end‑to‑end and coordinate smaller opportunities with legal administrative teams.
• Maintain high‑quality CVs, credentials, and other client‑facing materials.
• Track pipeline, opportunities, and follow‑ups; enhance templates, content, and tools.
• Produce and distribute external communications; manage LinkedIn and key channels in line with firm positioning.
• Coordinate submissions for legal directories (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500) and ensure alignment with global campaigns.
• Deliver client‑focused events, support smaller formats, and manage key memberships and networking opportunities.
• Track KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement across all initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or communications, preferably within professional services.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French and Dutch are a plus.
• Proactive, able to take responsibility for deliverables with clear priorities.
• Quick learner comfortable in a fast‑moving, demanding environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and comfort interacting with international teams and diverse stakeholders.
