Local SEO Project Manager (WordPress, GMB, Citations)

About the role

We are seeking a Local SEO Project Manager to lead high‑volume, scalable SEO campaigns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑sized businesses. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while delivering measurable local search results for clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute local SEO campaigns for a large client base, ensuring consistency and performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles to improve map‑pack visibility.
• Build, audit, and clean up business citations on major local directories.
• Implement on‑page and technical optimizations to boost local rankings and conversions.
• Monitor rankings, analyze performance data, and produce regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks to maintain process consistency and high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong expertise in Google Business Profile optimization and citation management.
• Ability to organize and oversee many concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
