Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Dietetics

About the role

LUNEX University of Applied Sciences is seeking a motivated dietician to join its international faculty on a full‑time, tenure‑track basis. The appointment can be at the level of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and coordinate learning modules for the Nutrition, Fitness and Health study programme.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality enhancement and academic governance.
• Develop and participate in interdisciplinary research projects related to nutrition and dietetics.
• Engage with undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing mentorship and academic support.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; a PhD is considered an advantage.
• Strong background in biomedical sciences with focus on nutrient metabolism, clinical nutrition, diet therapy or dietary counselling.
• Proven teaching excellence at higher‑education level.
• Documented research record with publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Excellent interpersonal and team‑management skills.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English (the language of instruction).

Required skills

• Knowledge of biomedical sciences applied to nutrition.
• Ability to design and deliver academic modules.
• Research methodology and scientific writing.
