Lead AI System Architect

About the role

As a Lead AI System Architect at Devoteam, you will design and own cutting‑edge, scalable AI architectures that drive real business value for our clients and internal projects. You will act as the technical authority, translating complex AI challenges into robust, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architectures for autonomous AI agents, multi‑agent workflows, orchestration and tool integration.
• Own system design from proof‑of‑concept through industrialisation, defining deployment and optimisation strategies for GPU‑based models.
• Select and design data layers (vector, multi‑modal stores) to support retrieval and agent memory.
• Collaborate with DevOps to set containerisation standards (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) for AI services.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into existing corporate IT ecosystems.
• Communicate the technical vision to business and IT stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging data‑architecture and open‑source AI technologies and share best practices internally.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in AI/solutions architecture and system design, preferably with autonomous agents and orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of large language models such as Llama or Mistral and tooling like Ollama or LangChain.
• Solid understanding of vector databases, agent memory/retrieval patterns, and familiarity with relational, NoSQL and Big Data environments.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) and GPU‑optimised deployments.
