Lawyer – Banking, Finance & Restructuring

About the role

DLA Piper is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Luxembourg team, focusing on banking, finance and restructuring matters. You will work on high‑profile insolvency, enforcement and special‑situations cases while also handling a broad range of transactional finance work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in restructuring matters, including insolvency, enforcement and special situations.
• Lead and manage deal teams from initial discussions through closing, handling structuring and negotiation.
• Work on national and cross‑border complex transactions, collaborating with corporate, M&A, tax, investment‑funds and litigation teams.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and ensure seamless coordination across offices.
• Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives to grow the Luxembourg practice.

Required profile

• Qualified (or soon to be qualified) lawyer in Luxembourg or another EU Member State.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in restructuring and finance transactions.
• Excellent academic record and strong technical and organisational abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French and German are a plus.
• Proactive, flexible team player with strong cultural awareness.
