Senior Associate – Deals Lawyer (Corporate, M&A, Private Equity)

About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm with a Luxembourg office, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Corporate, M&A and Private Equity team. The role offers the chance to lead high‑value, multi‑jurisdictional transactions in a dynamic European legal market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage M&A and private equity transactions from structuring through to closing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing pragmatic and commercially driven advice.
• Draft, review and negotiate key transaction documents with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate multi‑jurisdictional deals and liaise with international counsel.
• Supervise junior lawyers and oversee due‑diligence processes.
• Take full responsibility for deal execution, timelines and client delivery.

Required profile

• EU‑qualified lawyer (Luxembourg or another EU jurisdiction).
• 5–7 years post‑qualification experience in corporate, M&A or private equity at a leading international or top‑tier law firm.
• Proven experience in complex, cross‑border transactions.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage sophisticated client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent drafting skills.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit.
