Investment Funds Lawyer

About the role

Our client, a leading European law firm with a growing presence in Luxembourg, is seeking a motivated Investment Funds Lawyer. This role offers the chance to develop expertise in investment fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and fund governance within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the structuring, establishment, and ongoing management of investment funds and alternative investment vehicles.
• Provide regulatory advice for Luxembourg and other relevant jurisdictions.
• Draft and review fund documentation such as prospectuses, offering memoranda, subscription agreements, and governance materials.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and operational aspects of fund management.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports on legislation, regulatory changes, and market developments.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and multidisciplinary teams on fund‑related transactions and projects.
• Participate in client meetings and help maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in investment funds or financial services law.
• Strong academic background with an interest in financial services regulation and investment structures.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• High level of accuracy, strong organisational abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable, collaborative team player eager to learn and grow.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit is required.
