Junior Mold Mechanical Designer for Product Development (m/f/d)

About the role

After an initial training period you will join the Development‑Engineering team responsible for beverage packaging tooling. You will provide engineering support throughout the product development process, delivering high‑quality, reliable and cost‑effective mold designs on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed mechanical designs following company design standards.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, service, test and validation.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones and track timelines.
• Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Some years of relevant work experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CAD applications.
• Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
• Good project and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in English (verbal, written, presentation); additional languages such as French or German are advantageous.
