Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in Leudelange. The role supports the legal needs of a group of online business service providers, including domain registration, hosting and brand management services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage abuse and domain dispute cases, responding to reports of phishing, fraud, takedown, hijacking and IP infringements, and coordinate with law enforcement and rights holders.
• Assist with debt collection processes, tracking outstanding receivables and liaising with internal and external parties.
• Monitor and maintain ICANN compliance for registrar entities, updating corporate and operational information as required.
• Support trademark matters, including filings, monitoring and coordination of registrations.
• Participate in domain recovery and alternative dispute resolution procedures.
• Provide corporate legal support such as preparing board and shareholder documentation and updating bylaws.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, marketing agreements and service terms, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Create legal blog articles and contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Review and negotiate supplier and provider agreements.
• Offer cross‑departmental legal advice to HR, Sales and Finance teams.
• Conduct legal monitoring and keep the business informed of relevant regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law with a focus on intellectual property.
• Strong written and spoken English and French.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in domain name industry, ICANN regulations and online services.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IP law, trademark and copyright.
• Understanding of ICANN compliance requirements.
