Junior IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer who will provide remote expert support while being integrated into a team that works closely with a major client’s on‑site IT department. The role involves handling service desk activities, automating ticket workflows, and creating clear documentation for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Answer Service Desk calls and manage incident resolution workflows.
• Create, manage, and automate tickets in ServiceNow, improving workflow efficiency.
• Automate existing processes, including ticket creation and management.
• Produce regular reports on service delivery activities.
• Handle incoming calls using ServiceNow and task‑management tools.
• Develop user manuals and other relevant documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT user support.
• Strong command of English.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing, Confluence, and Jira.
• Background in service‑delivery reporting and documentation (SOPs, user manuals).
• Knowledge of backup/restore procedures and system administration on Linux and Windows.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and task automation/DevOps is a plus.
