Junior Cloud Engineer (M/F/X) – VIE in Luxembourg

About the role

As a Junior Cloud Engineer you will join an international IT environment in Luxembourg, working on the management, improvement and resilience of cloud infrastructures. This VIE position is ideal for a candidate with 1‑2 years of cloud experience who is eager to deepen their expertise in Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain Microsoft Azure environments across PaaS, IaaS and SaaS layers.
• Participate in cloud infrastructure deployment and automation activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather technical requirements and ensure smooth implementation.
• Monitor performance and optimise cloud workloads.
• Assist with backup, recovery and business continuity processes, including RPO and RTO considerations.
• Support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Contribute to infrastructure documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure compliance and security best practices within cloud environments.
• Work on network‑related topics such as connectivity, segmentation and redundancy.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg for a VIE contract.
