Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to support our Senior Accountant in day‑to‑day accounting, treasury operations, and data reconciliation. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with a high‑volume, multi‑currency environment and the chance to contribute to the cleanup of legacy data after an ERP migration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate General Ledger records.
• Prepare routine journal entries for operational expenses.
• Execute daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and safeguard accounts.
• Investigate and clean up historical accounting discrepancies from the recent ERP migration.
• Match supplier invoices and customer transactions (AP/AR ledger matching).
• Assist with month‑end journal postings, including bank fees accruals, pre‑payments, and interest income tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification (e.g., BTS, DCG).
• 1‑3 years of experience in corporate accounting, treasury, or a financial fiduciary environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is a strong asset.
• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented, and proactive when handling messy data or backlogs.

Required skills

• Practical experience with SAP FI.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
