Junior Accountant – Finance (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established packaging distribution group in Luxembourg that is looking for a Junior Accountant. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Finance Manager, assisting in the financial management of several companies within the group.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts‑payable invoices and bank transactions.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor incoming payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Contribute to various tax returns, including VAT and corporate income tax filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Graduate Diploma in Accounting preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Fluent French and good command of English; Dutch or German is a plus.
• Strong team player, proactive, rigorous, and able to work autonomously.
• Solid knowledge of Luxembourgish and Belgian GAAP; familiarity with Luxembourgish taxation and VAT is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Navision (other accounting software also considered).
