IT Security Expert

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Expert to design, implement and maintain advanced security measures across our network, applications and monitoring assets. You will work closely with DevOps and project teams to ensure our environment complies with the latest industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cutting‑edge security controls for network, application and monitoring layers.
• Analyse regular security scans and exploit indicators, delivering actionable remediation recommendations.
• Assess existing security parameters, identify gaps and propose improvements to strengthen the overall posture.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed security guidelines and best practices into development pipelines.
• Support project managers with risk assessments for new providers and initiatives, ensuring security requirements are met.
• Analyse log data to detect patterns of potential breaches and coordinate timely incident response.
• Assist in creating and deploying comprehensive security policies and frameworks aligned with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage quality assurance through testing and production cut‑over support.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification in Cybersecurity/Information Security.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar security role.
• Strong understanding of current cybersecurity trends, technologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps procedures and technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, French and German.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
