Internship - Legal Officer - Luxembourg - September 2026

About the role

The Legal Department in Luxembourg is looking for a motivated intern to support the legal monitoring of a portfolio of roughly one hundred companies, primarily Luxembourg investment funds, their General Partners and SPVs. The internship starts in September 2026 and offers hands‑on experience in fund creation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and daily management of Luxembourg investment funds, General Partners and SPVs.
• Draft all legal documents related to fund transactions and corporate actions.
• Prepare and follow up legal formalities with notaries, the Trade and Companies Register, the Beneficial Owners Register and other authorities.
• Set up and maintain the legal calendar for all entities, monitoring deadlines and key dates.
• Write, review and negotiate contracts.
• Handle ad‑hoc queries concerning Luxembourg investment funds, company law and contract law.
• Maintain and update the internal legal database.
• Conduct regulatory watch on relevant legislative developments.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master 2 program in Banking & Financial Law, Business Law, Bar School or a Business School.
• Previous experience in a law firm or a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of business law; specialization in banking and finance law is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Rigorous, adaptable and able to work in a fast‑changing environment.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg law is appreciated.
