Internal Auditor (International Organization)

About the role

The International Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) seeks a qualified Internal Auditor to strengthen its audit function across finance, compliance, performance, fraud and IT systems. The role involves applying international internal audit standards while supporting a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits in finance, compliance, performance, fraud and computer systems.
• Lead audit teams, ensuring high‑quality work and adherence to IIA standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain discretion, persuasiveness and effective stakeholder communication throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• University degree in business administration, finance or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum three years of audit experience in at least one of the listed audit areas.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and work independently.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA).
