About the role
As a Ground Segment DevOps Engineer you will own the CI/CD toolchain and container‑based infrastructure that powers mission‑critical aerospace software. Based in Luxembourg, you will work closely with development and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable services for satellite ground systems.
Key responsibilities
- Expand and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated build, test and deployment.
- Manage container environments using Docker, Portainer, Harbor and related orchestration tools.
- Define deployment strategies, versioning, rollback mechanisms and operational readiness processes.
- Lead operational maintenance to ensure continuous availability of Ground Segment systems.
- Design and deploy Mission Support System tooling, including automated pipelines, centralized logging, monitoring and lifecycle orchestration.
- Collaborate with development and ops teams to integrate mission‑critical services.
- Support evolution of infrastructure, ensuring best practices for reliability, scalability and maintainability.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience with Docker‑based environments and container lifecycle management.
- Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, shell scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, NFS, etc.) and documentation discipline.
- Experience in production‑grade infrastructure reliability and operational maintenance.
- Fluent English; French (B2) is a plus.
