Graduate – Financial Risk Reporting (Luxembourg)

About the role

The Graduate – Financial Risk Reporting will join the Group Financial Risk Department at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. You will support the development and continuous improvement of risk metrics, ensuring data quality across Treasury & Liquidity, Asset & Liability Management and Risk Data & Processes divisions. The role involves rotating between these divisions to gain broad exposure to financial risk reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in migrating daily liquidity risk reporting to interactive Power BI dashboards, replacing Excel‑based processes.
• Support the implementation of econometric models (e.g., stress testing, ESG scoring) on a Python‑based hybrid platform.
• Perform data checks, reconciliations, queries, extraction and creation of reports and dashboards to ensure operational continuity.
• Monitor and report the Bank’s FX and interest‑rate positions, supporting daily Asset & Liability Management tasks.
• Contribute to audit follow‑up actions and strategic topics for the ALCO and Management Committee, such as pre‑payment option spread oversight and liquidity risk premium monitoring.

Required profile

• Recent graduate willing to work under the supervision of senior colleagues.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to assist in a wide range of analytical and reporting activities.
• Flexibility to rotate between Treasury & Liquidity, Asset & Liability Management and Risk Data & Processes divisions.
