Financial Controller – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Financial Controller to lead finance operations across Europe for a global industrial manufacturing group. The role offers direct exposure to C‑level executives and supports the company’s strong growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial controlling activities for Europe and neighboring markets.
• Supervise accounting teams, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor credit management, collections, and invoicing processes.
• Ensure accurate monthly closings, KPI reporting and financial statements.
• Analyse performance versus budget, forecasts and historical benchmarks.
• Lead budgeting cycles and short‑term cash‑flow forecasting.
• Define and enforce internal controls, compliance and audit procedures.
• Manage tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy and drive continuous improvement of finance systems (SAP).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 8‑10 years of controlling experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Fluent English; additional German, French or Turkish is a plus.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar ERP) proficiency.
