Investment Director – Remote (Global)

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process for a Dubai‑based firm with a global, diversified portfolio. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market knowledge with rigorous operational execution to drive analytical excellence across the investment division.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence by sourcing, screening, and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of performance, risk metrics, and team capabilities, maintaining regular contact with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and synthesize findings into comprehensive memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policies, and geopolitical developments to assess market implications.
• Develop scenario analyses and periodic briefs to inform portfolio positioning and investment decisions.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research and written communication abilities.
• Proven project coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Bloomberg terminal proficiency.
• Additional programming knowledge (R, SQL) – preferred.
