Accountant – Aviation Finance

About the role

Jetfly, a leading European private aviation company, is expanding its finance team. We are looking for a highly motivated Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting for several entities, working closely with internal teams and external advisors. A strong interest in aviation and solid accounting expertise are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, data reconciliations and maintain accurate master data files.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in the applicable GAAP.
• Coordinate VAT and tax return preparation with external tax advisors.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor receivables ageing, and execute cash application and AR reporting.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable, treasury functions, invoice processing and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in audit processes, produce regulatory returns and ensure proper document archiving.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or international environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with accounts receivable and a solid understanding of accounts payable and treasury processes.
• Autonomous, rigorous, well‑organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entities.
