Experienced Accountant – Private Equity

About the role

We are supporting an international investment‑oriented organization in Luxembourg that seeks an experienced accountant to join its private‑equity finance team. The role offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment and to develop expertise in investment structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities for multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, intercompany postings and reconciliations.
• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Support financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to process improvement and finance projects.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and other business functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Exposure to investment structures, private equity or financial services is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong technical aptitude, rigor and a proactive mindset.
