Electromechanical Engineer – Design & Motion Control

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to lead the design and analysis of electrical and motion‑control solutions across our product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and external partners to deliver innovative, reliable systems for internal projects and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, dimension, implement, test and maintain electrical, electromechanical and motion‑control solutions, including PLC code, for internal products and external customers.
• Interact with partners and customers to support and integrate HITEC electrical and automated solutions.
• Define, document, implement and test new features and technologies in existing or new products to improve solutions.
• Present, explain and defend important features and concepts in discussions with partners.
• Support the testing process by maintaining and driving functional tests using existing or new test plans.
• Help develop and establish best practices in product design and verification.
• Proactively introduce, document and disseminate new technologies and concepts through departmental technology surveys.

Required profile

• Engineer or master‑level diploma in electrical or automation engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience with electro‑mechanical devices such as electrical motors and power electronics.
• Ability to work in an English‑speaking environment, with German, French or Luxembourgish considered a plus.
• Adaptability to new situations and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Background in control theory and knowledge of PLC and PC programming languages (Structured Text, Java, C++ or Python) is a plus.
